The ICC Annual Conference is the key networking venue for member and non member organisations for language practitioners, course developers and decision makers from all over Europe.
Creativity and Innovation
The European Union proposes 2009 to become EUROPEAN YEAR OF CREATIVITY and INNOVATION . The commission sees a need for skills and competences that enable people to meet rapid change and open up to new challenges and ideas in a culturally diverse, knowledge based society. Education and training are determining factors in this.
The European Year of Innovation and Creativity should not only cover education and culture, but also other policy domains as enterprise, media, research, social and regional policy and rural development.
In the light of this the ICC conference will focus on those topics related to creativity and innovation in  language teaching, language learning, and intercultural communication with examples of BEST PRACTICE.
The aim of the conference is to show how language learning and teaching can contribute to meet challenges of rapid change and raise awareness for new and creative approaches in language teaching and learning in adult education, in the school system and in universities. Hence, help to disseminate information about good practices
The conference includes plenary sessions with international experts, smaller presentations and special focus sessions, practical demonstrations and debates on specific topics, as well as various informal networking opportunities where practitioners share their experiences, ideas, new information and perspectives. The conference language is English.

The ICC invites papers on the topics listed below and requests that all proposals engage with the notion of creativity and innovation in their chosen field.
