Useful Information - List of Hotels - How to get into Central Hamburg and to the Venue
Getting to Hamburg City Centre from the Airport
Arriving at the Airport Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel, you can take the Airport Express Bus to the main railway station ‘Hauptbahnhof’ (Central Station).
If you have booked in at a hotel at Dammtor Station, you can take the S-Bahn (city rail) to Dammtor just follow the ‘S’ signs. You need to get the S 21 or S 31 (direction Altona or Elbgaustr.).
You can check the public transport plan for a detailed rail map.
From the Airport you can alternatively, take the S-Bahn (city rail) to Central Station. If you wish to go to Dammtor Station, take line S1 to Ohlsdorf and change to S-Bahn lines S21 or S31, which will take you directly to the Dammtor railway station.
Arriving at the Airport Lübeck Blankensee there is a bus transfer to Hamburg Zob (the central bus station) close to Hauptbahnhof (central station). You will need to cross over to Hauptbahnhof.
For those of you whose hotel is located at central station the most convenient public transport is the airport bus.

From Dammtor Bahnhof/Hauptbahnhof (Central Station)
You can take any line from Dammtor Bahnhof to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (Central Station).
There you get off and take the blue line, U1 towards Ohlstedt or Gross-Hansdorf. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes until you arrive in Farmsen where you have to get off. Follow the signes to 'VHS' Berner Heerweg, the conference will take place in the premises of the VHS (Volkshochschule) where the ICC is based, too.
