Raising the Standard of Language Learning through the Use of European Language Portfolios. An International Seminar organised jointly by ICC International Language Network, Germany, Public Service Language Centre, Latvia, Coordinator of the activELP project and project partners. The conference took place at ICC head quarters in Hamburg, Germany on 23 October 2009.

The ICC 16th Annual Conference took place in Florence 27-28 March 2009 in co-operation with CLIDA Centro Linguistico Italiano Dante Alighieri.

 The 15th ICC Annual Conference 14-16 March 2008 was held in London in co-operation with the University of Westminster. 

The Annual General Meeting took place during the conference on Saturday 15 March.

ICC – Annual General Meeting(AGM) 26 March, 2006

The Annual General Meeting took place in Riga at prior to the ICC conference. For detailed information see the minutes of the meeting.

The conference ended with a ceremony in honour of Anthony Fitzpatrick, Director of the ICC. He was praised by the ICC board for all his effort and personal input to make the ICC a successful organisation. He was given a warm farewell by his colleagues and ICC-members.

ICC-Annual Conference 26-28 March, 2006

'Quality Assurance in Language Teaching in Post-Secondary Education and Training'
In co-operation with the Ministy of Education and Science, Latvia, and the Public Service Language Centre in Riga, the ICC - Annual Conference held in Riga, Latvia 26-28 March 2006, offered a full programme of lectures, workshops, presentations and meetings in the field of language education and training of Adult Education. The main focus was on Quality Assurance.

The conference was accompanied by a book exhibition and a project and materials fair, where ICC member organisations and others presented papers, posters and other presentation material related to quality assurance.
The three day conference was followed by a two-day in-depth seminar, relating the contents of the conference to specific learning / teaching environments. The overall event was offered within the context of the Grundtvig programme of the European Union.

ICC-Expert Seminar 25-27 November 2005

The event took place in Friedrichshafen, Germany, hosted by Claude-Dornier Schule.  ‘Assessing Language Competence for Occupational Purposes’This international conference was held on the subject of accreditation, evaluation and certification of foreign language for occupational purposes. The intention was to cover the whole range from language taught in vocational schools to language competence during placements as well as the transition from vocational secondary education to higher education.
