TRANSVALP - Transparence et Validation des Acquis Linguistiques

Professionnels, a Leonardo project, no 2005-FR/05/BPLA-152201

(01.10.2005 - 30.09.2007)

The main aim of the project is working out a system of professional linguistic skills recognition (CLP) relying on an evaluation prototype tool and on an on line validation. This means reading, understanding, speaking and acting in specific activities within a profession by using the master degree appropriated the grammatical, phonetic and semantic systems of a language. This is also a project about specific professional languages within a profession but not about evaluation of general linguistic skills. The professions aimed by this project would be tertiary sector particularly these sectors:

  • Tourism
  • Help services
  • Computer science
  • Transport & logistic

The language and professional level aimed by the project would first be the first level of professional qualification (level 1 to 3) and of language (A2-B1 according to the Common European Framework CEF). This system will enable the final and potential users of the project (trainees of professional training, unemployed person, salaried employee) to prove their skills during their work search or their professional development.
